Trainee Chartered Technician

Location: Plymouth, Devon (Hybrid)

Salary: Minimum £23k + Excellent Benefits

Permanent, 5 days per week (36.25 hours)

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice, specialising in agriculture, education, hospitality, and private sectors.

The Role:

As a Trainee Chartered Technician, you will undertake both practical and theoretical training whilst studying for your ACA qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements for various business structures.
• Conduct audits and ensure tax compliance.
• Support client assignments both in-office and on-site.
• Collaborate with senior staff and partners on projects.

Requirements:

• Solid academic background with good results in GCSEs, A-levels or equivalent.
• Keen interest in audit.
• Skilled in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Capable to learn new IT skills.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail with accurate verbal and written communication.
