Trainee CNC Machinist

Search are currently working with their client based in Fife, who are looking to recruit Trainee CNC Machinists on a temporary to permanent basis

Job title: CNC Machinist (Trainee)

Location: Fife

Pay rate: �12.60-13.50 DOE

Contract length: temporary to permanent following successful probation

Duties include:

• Work to deadlines and under pressure
• Operate machinery in a safe manner
• Work both on your own and as part of a team
• Provide a quality finished product
• Be organised and methodical
• Keep work area clean and tidy

Requirements:

• Experience within a similar role or worked in a factory production environment
• Health & Safety awareness
• Able to work from cutting lists
• Follow instructions to competently set up and operate wood machinery i.e. Spindle Moulder, Surface Planer, Thicknesser, Table saw, Re-saw, X-cutter, Square dresser
• Good understanding of tooling

Forklift combi license / experience and a drivers licesnse is desirable but is not essential.
