Salary: £75 to £90 per day - increase in April 2025

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals with a Level 3 NVQ or a degree who are eager to step into the world of education as a Trainee Cover Supervisor. About the Role: As a Trainee Cover Supervisor, you will supervise lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain engaged and on task. You will be working across a range of subjects and year groups, providing an excellent opportunity to develop classroom management skills and build confidence in leading lessons.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure school policies are followed.
  • Support students in their learning and provide guidance where necessary.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.
  • Gain first-hand experience in a school setting to support future teacher training applications.
