Role: Trainee Cover Supervisor
Location: Gravesend
Salary: £440 - £600 per week

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Cover Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the success of Primary and SEN Schools in Gravesend and the surrounding areas.

As a Trainee Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading lessons of approximately 30 pupils in the absence of the class teacher. The lesson will always be planned, and this will be provided in advance. It is your role as the Cover Supervisor to facilitate the classes learning, management classroom behaviour, record accurate registers, and provide a handover to the absent teacher. Successful trainee Cover Supervisors are adaptable, flexible, motivated, confident, and organised, they have a passion for education and supporting young people.

You will have the opportunity to work in a number of schools across Bexley, Dartford and Gravesend.

Requirements
To be considered for the position of Cover Supervisor, you will:


  • Have a willingness to learn.
  • A passion for the progress of all pupils, regardless of background or ability
  • Be a natural leader and someone with confidence to lead a lesson in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
