Trainee Engineer - Contracts

I am recruiting for a Trainee Engineer to join a manufacturing company in the Stouport-on-Severn area within their Contracts team. Reporting to the Contracts Manager you will learn how to produce manufacturing drawings and sketches and support the completion of the order.

Whilst training to be a Contracts Engineer you will learn to -

• Be fully conversant with the company's products, procedures and manufacturing techniques
• Produce accurate manufacturing drawings and sketches from customers enquiries
• Ordering components when necessary
• Liaise with customers regarding any order queries
• Gain complete awareness of the company's drawing office procedures

Ideally for this role you will have -

• A GCSE grade 6 or above in both Maths & English
• A GCSE grade 5 or above in Physics
• A relevant A-Level or Btec in Engineering or similar
• Excellent attention to detail
• You will need to be locally based to Stourport to commute daily to the site

On offer for this Trainee Contracts Engineer role -

• A starting salary of �22,308 p/a
• 34 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• Monday - Friday office based hours of 7:30am - 4:00pm (1:00pm finish on Fridays)
