Role: Trainee Lawn Care Operative
Location: Henfield
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Temp to Perm Contract

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Lawn Care Operative to join our growing client in Henfield. This will be a temporary position with the opportunity to turn permanent, and is based Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week.

The Role:

\n

\n
• Operate and maintain lawn care equipment.
\n
• Drive to various job sites, providing excellent customer service and addressing client needs.
\n
• Work as part of a team.
\n
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on equipment.
\n
• Provide recommendations and quotations for additional services to current and prospective customers.
\n

The Requirements:

\n

\n
• Living within a commutable distance with reliable transport method.
\n
• Customer service experience (preferably from a service-industry or retail background).
\n
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage your own workload.
\n
• Positive, "can-do" attitude with the ability to engage with customers.
\n
• Friendly, reliable, and diligent approach to work.
\n
• Enjoy working outside and physically engaging tasks.
\n
• Ability to work flexibly, with varying working hours depending on travel time and workload.
\n
• PA1/PA6 certificates (desirable, but not essential as training is provided).
\n
• Knowledge of turf management (desirable, but not essential).
\n
