Aspion are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturer at the forefront of digital printing. They produce high-quality printed materials for a range of industries and pride ourselves on our innovation, precision, and efficiency.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious Trainee Print Assistant to join their Production Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate who is eager to develop a career in digital printing. While industry knowledge is beneficial, full training will be provided.

The Role:

As a Trainee Print Assistant, you will play a key role in the production team, supporting the Lead Printer with operating the Flexographic printing machine and ensuring the smooth running of the print process. You will receive hands-on training and work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable industry experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:                                     


  • Assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of digital printing equipment
  • Monitor print quality and ensure all products meet customer specifications
  • Support the team with material preparation, stock management, and workflowcoordination
  • Learn and apply industry standards in color management and finishing techniques
  • Identify and troubleshoot minor machine issues, escalating when needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized production workspace
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production deadlines and efficiencytargets

Shift Patterns:

You will be working a continental shift pattern  of 4 days followed by 3 nights and then rotating the following week.      

Skills/Experience:                                       


  • A recent graduate in Print, Graphic Design, Manufacturing, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
  • A genuine interest in digital printing technology and manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
  • Basic knowledge of digital printing processes (an advantage, but not essential—full training provided!)
