The basics:

Role: Trainee Production Planner

Location: Mansfield - Rainworth

Salary: up to �25000

Hours: start times can be flexible - usually between 7am and 9am. Monday to Thursday 8hrs and Friday 5.5hrs

Holidays: 33 days

Overview:

Working for a first-class manufacturing business that have plants across the globe, we now need a trainee production planner to join the planning department due to growth and progression. As the trainee production planner you will be guided and trained by senior planners with a 12 to 18 month on the job training programme to become a fully fledged production planner.

The role in brief:

Working within the planning department you will be part of the team that look to enhance manufacturing efficiency by analysing trends and optimizing production.

The ideal candidate / Trainee Production Planner may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Competent Microsoft Excel user (Formulas, pivot tables and charts and the ability to understand the data)

An interest and/or background in manufacturing/production/engineering

Level 2 in Maths/grade C or above - GCSE

Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport within a large manufacturing business.

Commutable from, Mansfield, Newark on Trent and surrounding areas.
