Trainee Project/Contracts Manager (Geotechnical Engineer)

Our client is looking for a trainee project/contracts manager to join their reputable multinational firm. This role presents an exciting chance for an ambitious individual to become part of an established team of 15 professionals. Operating within the companies nationwide network of 90 geo-environmental experts. Their northern team specialises in delivering brownfield redevelopment, ground investigation, geotechnical, and geo-environmental consultancy services to diverse private and public sector clients.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of site investigations experience.

• Experience in GI contracting, including soil logging, drilling, rig operation, and site supervision.

• Background in health and safety protocols.

• Strong time management skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Full driving licence and right to work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing geotechnical projects and contracts, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

• Monitor health and safety practices on-site.

• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.

• Assist in project planning, scheduling, and reporting.

• 90% office based with occasional visits to project sites for inspections and support.
