Major Recruitment is seeking dedicated Production Operatives to join our well-established, manufacturing client based in Normanton area. This trainee role is perfect for candidates eager to develop new skills and become proficient CNC Machine Operator.

Key Responsibilities of Protec CNC Machine Operator:

• Using Alphacam software
• Manufacturing signs by using aluminium components
• Reading production drawings
• Working with the CNC machines to fabricate various sign structures.
• The work is varied and interesting, often requiring ideas and innovation.
• To work to a high standard and be aware of quality control.
  Ability to organise jobs and deal with the associated paperwork.

Shift Pattern:

Alternate shifts:

Week 1: Monday to Friday: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Week 2: Monday-Thursday: 9:30am - 6:00pm Fridays ending at 3:30pm.

Requirements of Trainee CNC Machine Operator:

• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Ability to do heavy lifting
• Reliable character.
• Candidates must be able to arrange their own travel to the Normanton facility.
• References may be required.
