Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer required to join a prominent engineering supplier, specializing in compressed air systems. This role offers the exciting opportunity to be part of the inaugural team at a brand new depot near Bristol, with excellent prospects for career advancement.�
The Successful Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance across a variety of compressed air systems. From compressors to vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, and nitrogen generators, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing performance for major customers across various industries. This is a field based position taking you to customer sites throughout the South West UK including Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester, Bath and neighbouring regions along with occasional travel to Bristol for training and parts collection.
The Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer will ideally have hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical domains. Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity in electrical fault finding and systems troubleshooting or a background in the compressed air industry or related electromechanical fields such as filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration, HVAC, pumps, valves, rotating equipment.� Full product raining provided.

Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer�Role
To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites.
The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of compressed air systems, nitrogen generators, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air products.
Installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment.
Liaise with various engineering departments.
Working at customer sites throughout the South West UK, including�Bristol, Swindon, Gloucester, Bath, and neighbouring regions along with occasional travel to Bristol for training and parts collection.
Trainee Service Engineer / Junior Field Service Technician / Electromechanical Engineer Requirements
Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical / mechanical engineering systems.
Experience as a Trainee Service Engineer, Apprentice Engineer, Apprentice Technician, Entry level Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Electromechical Engineer or similar.
Hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical domains. Preference will be given to candidates with familiarity in electrical fault finding and systems troubleshooting, coupled with a strong enthusiasm for continuous learning and adapting to novel challenges.
Strong understanding of three-phase electrics and controls, with hands-on experience preferred.
Background in the compressed air industry or related electromechanical fields (e.g., filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration, HVAC, pumps, valves, rotating equipment) would be advantageous.�
Flexibility to travel occasionally to Bristol for training and parts collection
