A leading manufacturer operating within ISO 9001 standards, ensuring zero defects, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement. We are currently seeking a motivated Trainee/Technical Engineer to join their dynamic Technical Department.

About the Role

As a Trainee/Technical Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting our experienced engineers in solving technical challenges and delivering high-quality solutions to our customers. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical engineering, working within a team that acts as the crucial link between customers and manufacturing.

You will be actively involved in various tasks, assisting in the smooth operation of the department while developing your technical skills. All new business enquiries follow a structured process of feasibility analysis, quotation, and sample submission before moving to production, and you will have the chance to be involved in these processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, implementing, and testing technical solutions based on business requirements.


• Identify potential technical issues and contribute to problem-solving solutions.


• Support the development of process improvements and automation opportunities.


• Assist in the production of engineering samples and prototypes.


• Conduct research to obtain and analyse technical information.


• Engage with management to report on project progress and achievements.

Key Skills & Requirements

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).


• Good numerical ability to analyse technical data.


• Proficiency in IT, including the use of integrated software packages.


• Attention to detail and manual dexterity for building engineering samples.


• Research skills to gather technical information from various sources.


• Computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems.
