Working with a well-established engineering company who are now on the lookout for a Trainee Toolmaker to join their ever-growing team based in Lincoln.
Key Responsibilities – Trainee Toolmaker
Manufacture of jigs & Fixtures
Manufacture of test pieces
Setting/Operating CNC & manual machines
Ensuring processed parts conform to drawing
Ensuring parts are processed in the allowed time
Ensuring all documentation is accurate
Supporting the area in carrying out alternative tasks as required
Supporting other team-members as required
Achieving targets as identified by Tool room Management
Qualifications & Experience – Trainee Toolmaker
NVQ in Engineering manufacture or equivalent / Advanced Modern Apprenticeship
Previous experience of working in an engineering environment.
Computer Literate
Experience in the use of standard measurement equipment.
