Moving and Handling Trainer and Assessor - part time hours bank working - REMOTE WORKING
Part-Time - Home-based and working at multiple client sites.
HR Careers and Nationwide Recruitment Service are looking for a Moving and Handling Trainer to work part-time for their client.
The salary is up to £40,000 full-time equivalent; i..e £24,000 part-time hours; the work will be bank Adhoc work delivering our clients moving and handling training.
This is an exciting opportunity to work for an innovative market leader and within a passionate team where you can really make a difference to people's lives.
You will lead, develop, and deliver adult and child manual handling training to delegates from a variety of different sectors and assess them to achieve certification and qualifications to OfQual standards.
Due to the nature of the role, you will have knowledge and experience of HOP 6 and SPH delivery.
ROLE:
Deliver moving and handling training across all sectors
Maintain professional standards and CPD
Assess learners in line with assessment standards laid down by Awarding Organisations and complete all relevant assessment documents in line with Awarding Organization standards
Identify, new products and services in relation to developments and initiatives in moving and handling practices.
Provide other departments and colleagues with occupational health and safety advice.
Qualifications
:
A recognised, relevant healthcare qualification at Level 6 OR have achieved occupational competence within the health and social care sector at Level 4 (essential)
Minimum of Level 4 qualification in Safer People Handling (essential)
Teaching qualification such as PTLS or equivalent Level 3 (essential)
D32/D33, A1/TAQA (preferred)
A qualification in Health ergonomic/ Backcare management
Level 3 Health and safety e.g. Nebosh general Certificate (preferred)
Essentials
A strong background within the moving and handling training and development field.
Expertise of delivering moving and handling training to diverse groups of learners within varied people handling environments
Experience of designing and developing moving and handling training courses in line with best practice and Healthcare developments
Experience of mandatory training for the care sector and NHS
Experience of adopting training methods that are enjoyable and interactive
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent training/presentation skills
