If we look like your kind of people, apply today and come and be one of our kind of people. /p p strong The role /strong /p p Working closely with the Transcreation Manager and Senior Transcreation Manager, Tag’s internal production and VO teams, the TE will assist and support managing the Transcreation and Language, including translation/transcreation of scripts, press ads or digital ads, voiceover recording, as well as liaising with our in-market copywriters, translators and VO Directors. /p p strong Responsibilities /strong /p p strong Overall Description /strong /p p On a day-to-day level manage – and take ownership of – translation and transcreation projects, ranging from long-copy translation to complex international campaigns, either working independently or with other members of the Transcreation team and other departments within Tag. /p p strong Translation/Transcreation/Language adaptation management – support role /strong /p p Briefing local copywriters on new global master online, TVC, print and digital to be adapted in their local languages. Briefing translators on short and long copy translation projects. /p p Managing and building trusting relationships with local translators and copywriters to translate, adapt copy and proofread artwork. /p p Under supervision of STM or TM, assessing quality of the adaptations received from copywriters. Ensuring accuracy and reliability of copy and the consistency of messaging/positioning for the brands across all media and markets. /p p Briefing the local copywriters on VoiceOver direction responsibilities during the VO recording stage of the project. QA check of recorded VoiceOver in a given language as well as QA check of all final language adaptations to go to production team. /p p Analysing files and managing translation projects on the translation portal. Liaising with the localisation team for support on file processing and translation memory management. /p p Liaising with internal teams to support production: VO, video, digital, print, etc. /p p strong Project management /strong /p p Establishing and managing project deadlines (setting and enforcing deadlines with copywriters, translators and sometimes clients) and budgets (open job numbers, prepare estimates, send/obtain POs, billing) /p p Abilitiy to efficiently manage multiple projects. /p p Understand and follow all the processes and stages independently from beginning to end, including briefing, script creation, file analysis and preparation, translation project set-up, language revision/QA, production, etc. /p p strong Client management /strong /p p Taking briefs from agencies/clients, ensure that all information necessary to carrying out the job is obtained. /p p Under supervision of STM or TM, managing local and regional client approvals as well as implementing client feedback. /p p Building solid relationships with different clients/agencies/colleagues with the support of STM/TM. /p p strong Skills and Experience required /strong /p p Education: the successful candidate will have a college/university degree in related field (i.e. English, Linguistics, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, Business). A combination of education and work experience can be substituted. /p p Experience: Minimum 1 year experience of project management/account handling within: /p p A communications agency (ATL, BTL, TTL and/or interactive). /p p The marketing services department of an advertiser (client-side). /p p Possibly a production facility or other relevant advertising industry supplier. /p p Translation/transcreation agency. /p p strong Language skills /strong /p p Perfect written and spoken English. /p p Advanced knowledge of another language is essential (Bilingual preferred but not necessary) /p p Excellent written and verbal communication /p p Have a deep passion for languages and strong semantic analysis skills. /p p strong Account management / Client servicing skills /strong /p p Be able to work in a fast-paced multi-cultural environment. /p p Have a first experience working across global brands and international markets. /p p Be willing to learn how to speak to clients of all levels and build working relationship of trust with them, often without any or much face-to-face contact. /p p Be comfortable/experienced working in a creative and highly pressurised environment with tight deadlines. /p p Be able to think through ideas and be proactive to pre-empt problems before they happen. /p p Be a motivated and independent worker whilst also being able to work as part of a tight-knit but expanding team. /p p Be flexible – ability to service day-to-day account requirements and take on additional tasks/accounts where necessary. /p p strong Project management skills /strong /p p Organised, task-oriented personality, strong time management skills and the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously is a must. /p p Very detailed focused in terms of language adaptation quality control/output and working within our processes to ensure central creative/transcreation brief is respected while the needs of the local language and culture are met. /p p Good understanding of advertising production/fulfilment processes, mainly broadcast but print and digital knowledge are a plus. /p p Be able to quickly develop a productive working relationship with the various teams within a portfolio of clients. /p p Confident use of the standard Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets. /p p Understanding of translation software and CAT tools. /p p strong Profile /strong /p p Passionate /p p Enthusiastic team player, approachable and friendly /p p Hard worker, driven and eager to progress /p p Flexible, diplomatic and calm under pressure /p p Extremely organized, proactive and thorough with an eye for detail /p p The successful candidate will find themselves in a fast-paced multi-lingual environment in an innovative company going from strength to strength with opportunity for career advancement if they prove themselves. /p p As an ethical employer, Tag will never ask job applicants to provide private, sensitive information upfront or make offers of employment contingent on financial requests or responsibilities from any candidate. /p
