Your new opportunity
Quarriers Youth Housing Support Serviceprovides support to young people between the ages of 16 25 to assist with tenancy sustainment.
We are looking for a Transition Mentor(30hours) to support young people to independently sustain a tenancy - to make positive lifestyle choices and determine a brighter future for themselves. Working mostly throughout Stranraer however cover to Dumfries and Galloway will also be required.
The hours for this role will be between 9am - 6pm (Monday - Friday). Shifts willbe arranged with the successful applicant.
This is a permanent 30 hour per week contract.
What you will need to succeed/bring to the role
Reliability, flexibility and a positive attitude
Ability to build trusting long-lasting relationships
Empathy and excellent communication skills
Excellent team player
Ability to apply transferable life experience and skills to support and enable individuals.
It is essential for the successful candidate to have a driving license
