Are you passionate about helping young people navigate their next steps and preventing them from becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training)? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Transitions Coordinator to join our Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Hillingdon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare young people for their next steps in education, training, or employment.
- Provide information, advice, guidance, and support to young people facing barriers to entering training or employment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships, connections, and networks with local employers, training providers, and other relevant organizations.
- Inspire confidence and motivation in young people and the wider community.
- Implement effective strategies to ensure successful transitions for all young people.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in providing information, advice, guidance, and support to young people (desirable).
- Ability to build relationships and establish connections within the community.
- Motivated self-starter with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong behavior management skills.
