Transport Administrator

My Telford based Client is currently recruiting for a Logistics Administrator for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Salary - dependent on experience

\n

37 hrs per week

\n

Free parking

\n

Pension

\n

33 days holiday (Inc bank holidays)

\n

\n

Responsibilities:-

\n

\n
• Manage all pre-call / booking in requirements for outbound loads.
\n
• Manage all proof of delivery (POD) tracking, including chasing of outstanding POD and uploading to the SAP system.
\n
• Manage all enquires through to completion and satisfaction whether received by phone call, e-mail or in person.
\n
• Ensure any alteration to the shipping plan is effectively communicated back to the internal contacts within the business.
\n
• Ensure all transport and despatch data is recorded accurately and on time.
\n
• Assist with the management of despatch paperwork for outbound loads, completing transactions on SAP where required.
\n
• Deal with any other general office duties that may arise.
\n

Skills & Experience:-

\n

\n
• Previous experience of administration ideally within a Warehouse/Logistics environment
\n
• PC Literate
\n
• Excellent communication skills
\n
