Job Description Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity is now available for a Transport Administrator to join our team in Washington on a full time 12 month fixed term contract.
As a Transport Administrator you will liaise with drivers and subcontractors to dispatch, track and monitor deliveries to ensure timely delivery to customer locations and ensure accurate reporting in line with all legal, compliance and company procedures.
Salary: £25,000-£27,000 per annum.
Working Hours: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.
Key Duties of a Transport Administrator:
Ensuring the timely dispatch of drivers at front desk.
Tracking all deliveries from the depot to customer locations.
Issuing, checking and signing required driver paperwork upon leaving depot.
Ensuring the transport team and customers are informed of late or delayed deliveries using the relevant contact method (automated electronic, email and telephone).
