Transport Coordinator
Pertemps Staffordshire are currently looking for a Transport Coordinator for their client based in Stafford.
For this Transport Coordinator role, you will be responsible for:

Conduct colleague despatch and de-briefs.
Deal with queries in a prompt and professional manner and escalating where required to management.
Manage equipment defects efficiently and in line with process.
Ensuring SLA is always met for all equipment servicing/MOT.
Ensure all deliveries and collections are made on time and all delays are recorded and communicated.
Resource planning of core and agency colleagues in line with schedule requirements.
Escalate all accidents and incidents and assist with completion of necessary reports.
Consult with warehouse daily to understand loading position and assess any required changes to the daily schedule without jeopardising the service to stores.
Engaging with our 3PL's on any potential risk to store service through to resolution.

For this Transport Coordinator role, you will need:

Be an excellent communicator both written and oral.
Have a positive attitude 'Can Do Attitude' with the ability to listen and be approachable.
Willing to receive training and perform duties in all areas of the operation.
Knowledge and experience of Tachograph, driving hours and the working time.
Experience within a similar distribution environment is desirable but not essential.
