Direct Recruitment Services are seeking a skilled Transport Coordinator to join our long established client based in Preston. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating transport activities to ensure efficient operations.

Duties
Despatch & Brief /loads
Ensure EU drivers legislation is adhered to.
Provide updates on collections & deliveries to the client
Data Input and use of computer systems,
Making bookings in for deliveries to customers
Updating customers with delivery detail in real time
Assorted general administrative tasks.
Experience
Transport Planning / Operational background preferred
Knowledge of driver legislation
Excellent attention to detail
Flexible attitude to working hours
Good organisational, task management and prioritisation skills.
Team player
Ability to use initiative & work well under pressure.
Computer literate in office, excel, outlook etc.
