Transport Manager (Nights)

My client is a major player in the transportation of products and materials for a host of companies and businesses across the UK and beyond. From iconic automotive brands such as JLR, Bentley and McClaren, to IT and telecom giants such as BT, Virgin Media and Fujitsu - their service levels are unparalleled.
Due to a recent promotion, they are looking to recruit a Transport Manager on NIGHTS on a full-time, permanent basis.
Duties:
The would be managing a team of 4 people in the warehouse throughout the night as well as night drivers.
Monitoring drivers and booking jobs and drivers where required.
Planning deliveries initially on both the Pallet Network and general haulage.
Ensuring all vehicles are loaded throughout the night.
Dealing with any disciplinary matters within the night team.
Ensuring all drivers are checked in and out throughout the night as per our process.
Dealing with any customer enquiries and issues during the night.
The person would need to have transport experience, ideally withing general haulage.
Working Hours: Mon to Fri (Apply online only) with a one hour lunch break
