Location: Bury St Edmunds

Salary: £38,000 - £45,000pa (DOE)

Working Hours: Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5:30pm)

To schedule, plan and manage day-to-day customer deliveries.
Liaise with new and existing customers, helping in increasing profits.
Meet transport legislation commitments.
P&L responsibilities across operations, depot and office.
Monitor fleet maintenance requirements and liaise with and manage drivers.
Daily input of KPI's, delivery and collection issues, preparing paperwork.
Excellent UK geographical knowledge.Requirements:

Previous experience in Transport Management.
Understanding of General Haulage, the Pallet Network, Traffic Operations and Logistics.
Transport Management CPC is essential.
Strong Business/Commercial Acumen.
High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
Knowledge of Drivers Hours, Tachographs and Transport legislation.
Ability to thrive in a busy work environment.
