Job Description: Are you passionate about transport compliance and looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic logistics company? We are currently seeking a Transport Operator to join our team at the Cullompton site. In this role, you will be completing all aspects of the transport administration processes and coordination of the day to day running of the busy depot.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Transport Supervisor to manage and motivate the transport team to ensure that staff and assets are used effectively to attain maximum performance in terms of commercial contract efficiency, profit, and client service levels.
Inputting data from Manifest and other systems.
Arrange driver cover for any late cover or sickness absence by liaising with agencies.
Ensuring accidents are recorded correctly.
