Transport Planner

The Company

The client, an exciting market-leading Planning and Environmental Consultancy, who specialising in enhancing the built and natural environment in a positive way and work across all major sectors, is looking for a Transport Planner to join the Manchester team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects across Energy, Infrastructure, Regeneration & Placemaking, Residential, Commercial & Industrial and Mineral & waste.

The Position as a Transport Planner

As a Transport Planner you will be involved in all streams of workflow, from the planning through to design and delivery. You will have the opportunity to contribute and manage a number of exciting complex projects where you will be advising and liaising with clients. Tasks will include analysing data, appraising development sites, designs of highways and more.

Essential Requirements of a Transport Planner

• A degree in a related subject and a genuine interest for transport planning
• Good problem solving skills
• Experience with preparing transport statements, Assessments, Travel Plans and Construction Traffic Management Plans and inputs to Environment Impact Assessments.
