Are you a Transport Coordinator or experienced Transport Planner and are looking for a great work/life balance? Perhaps you're looking to further your career and gain experience planning vehicles across different geographies?

This is newly created opportunity to work on a new shift pattern, 4 on 4 off day shift!

Due to increasing workloads, a new shift pattern has been created to ensure a better work/life balance within the Transport Planning team. This role will involve planning articulated vehicles to conduct collections & deliveries across either Ireland or GB.

If you enjoy a challenge and have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a busy transport office environment, this is a great opportunity to join an established and growing logistics business who put an emphasis on employee satisfaction.

The Role

• Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers
• Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis
• Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling
• Ensure activities within operations are carried out with the highest regard and in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies
• 4 on, 4 off (10hr Dayshift)

You will need:

• Transport Planning Experience
• Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD
• Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties.
• Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment
• Good geographical knowledge of UK or Ireland
