Job description
Job Title: Transport Planner
Location: Redditch
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday Friday 8am 5pm 1 hour lunch
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Skills and Experience Needed:
A minimum of 2 years UK route planning experience, preferably within a multi drop delivery environment
Proven experience in a similar position
MS outlook and MS Office - full proficiency in Word and Excel
Using Database systems (desired)
Working within a fast-paced environment
Duties will Include:
Chasing drivers for outstanding paperwork when required
Day to day Route Planning & Scheduling
To raise route notifications for the movement of loads.
To promptly answer telephone calls within the department.
Ensuring that all driver run sheets and relevant information is complete.
General administrative tasks to provide support to the Operations team deliver a high level of customer service.
