Job Description: Retail Travel Agent�

�Location: �Newbury, RG14 5TA

�Salary: ��18,000 � ��27,000 per annum

�Hours: �Flexible � �6 days one week, 5 days the next, with a rotating day off during the week (not Saturdays). Willingness to work Saturdays if opting for a 5 �day work week. Availability for part �time roles on weekdays and Sundays.

�Key Responsibilities:�

� �Assisting customers with travel bookings, including flights, accommodations, tours, and transportation.

� �Providing expert advice on destinations, travel itineraries, and travel packages to meet customer needs.

� �Handling reservations, ticketing, and processing payments accurately and efficiently.

� �Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

� �Keeping up �to �date with travel industry trends, products, and services to provide valuable recommendations to clients.

� �Managing customer inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.

� �Collaborating with team members to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

�Qualifications and Skills Required:�

� �Previous experience in a retail travel agency or customer service role is preferred.

� �Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers.

� �Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail to handle multiple bookings and travel arrangements.

� �Knowledge of travel booking systems and software (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre) is advantageous.

� �Passion for travel and a willingness to learn about new destinations and travel products.

� �Flexibility in working hours, including weekends, to accommodate the needs of the role.
