Travel Consultant

Travel Consultant Bognor Regis - �25,000 - �25,500 - Permanent - Office based - 40 hrs
Hours 8.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday, Plus two in four Saturdays (8.30am-4.00pm) worked with a day off in lieu in the week.
Our client is a fantastic award-winning Travel company based in Bognor Regis and due to expansion are now recruiting for a Travel Consultant to join their team.
The Role
The role will be handling travel and Coach Tour bookings giving five-star customer service to every customer and handling the customer journey from first point of contact to departure. Handling sales calls for Coach Tours , selling holidays, day excursions and cruises
Duties
* Being first point of contact from initial enquiry to departure
* Handle calls from both direct clients and travel agents
* Handle Coach Tour requests, selling holidays, day excursions and cruises
* Providing excellent customer service at all times and ensure you are adapting your approach depending on the customers and bookings you are dealing with
* Supporting with reporting
* Ensure the customer is supported through the journey
Experience and skills needed:
* Experience within the travel industry is essential for this role
* experience in selling cruising and Worldwide tailor-made holidays would be preferred.
* Experience going over and beyond to support customers with all manner of queries
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Confident in using Microsoft applications
* Experience in taking day to day initiative as well as work with other members of the team
