Position:�Tree Surgeon

Location:CO7 7SY

Start Date:�Immediate Start

Working Hours:�8 AM - 4 PM (Monday to Friday)

Rate of Pay:�Competitive, based on experience

Job Role:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tree Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in arboriculture and tree management, with the ability to safely handle tree maintenance tasks. You will be working on a variety of projects, ensuring the health and safety of trees while preserving the surrounding landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Tree pruning, felling, and removal


• Crown reduction, thinning, and lifting


• Hedge trimming and shaping


• Stump grinding and removal


• Tree planting and aftercare


• Perform tree risk assessments and site surveys


• Operate chainsaws, chippers, and other arborist equipment


• Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Tree Surgeon or Arborist


• Relevant qualifications in Arboriculture (NPTC/LANTRA certificates preferred)


• Ability to work safely with chainsaws, chippers, and other tree surgery equipment


• Strong understanding of tree biology, diseases, and best practices in tree care


• Good physical fitness and ability to work in challenging outdoor environments


• Full UK driving licence preferred
