Equifind are working with a leading investment group to recruit a Head of Finance to run their UK finace team. This position will be based from their European HQ in the City of London, with the opportunity to work from home 2-3 days pw. As the UK Head of Finance your team will play a crucial role in delivering all internal and external reporting, as well as all regulatory (FCA) and client money reporting. What will I be doing? Directs & controls the finance function, taking full responsibility for putting in place & maintaining fit-for-purpose finance policies & procedures. Ensures full compliance with local regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. daily segregation of client funds, monthly capital adequacy reporting) Maintains a strong relationship with the external auditors and manages the annual audit process including the preparation and production of annual financial statements, including notes to the accounts and all supporting schedules and documentation required for audit sign off. Responsible for taxation oversight and compliance with the relevant laws. Ensures monthly management reporting is submitted to group finance in accordance with the set deadlines, including the provision of qualitative & quantitative commentary. Manges the budget cycle, ensuring compliance with group requirements. Create and maintain the capabilities within the finance function to create cashflow reporting, liquidity and capital management for presentation to senior management. Establishes KPIs and regularly reports on such. Proposes solutions for managing & mitigating any currency risks stemming from the business Helps to support the development of systems that improve the overall operation & effectiveness of the organization. Attends to special assignments requested by the Executive Management/Committees What do I need to apply? A qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA preferred). A minimum of 10 years experience working within a regulated environment. Strong knowledge of client money and regulatory reporting requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to assess and mitigate compliance risks. Ability to work in a confidential and sensitive environment. What s on offer? £130-140,000,000 base salary.
