Role Overview - UK & INT London Market BrokerVallum Associates are working with an established specialist insurance intermediary, responsible for servicing a worldwide portfolio of UK and international clients which focuses on placing complex liability and other specialty insurance and reinsurance risks with insurers in all major markets, including Lloyd’s of London are currently looking for a permanent full-time UK London Market Broker to join their rapidly growing business. This role reports directly to the Head of UK Broking.Key activities and responsibilities include:- Broking and producing deals- Developing business development strategy plans to grow their UK and EU business- Identifying classes of business in which opportunities exist for them to play a relevant role and to take advantage of such opportunities- Developing UK broker relationships- Identifying prospects and building a sales pipeline- Travelling nationally to meet with clients and enhance relationshipsDesirable skills and qualifications for an experienced Account Executive:- A proven and experienced broker with a minimum of 7 years’ experience in professional indemnity & directors & officers or cyber as a producing broker- Established relationship with underwriters- Proven track record of establishing and building relationships with independent producers- An individual who will drive their own business responsibilities for the companyPersonal qualities:- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills- Outgoing and engaging person who has gravitas and confidence in communicating with and influencing clients and senior management- A personal style with integrity which engenders confidence in others and the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally and to build business- An ambitious self-starter who can work with their other teams to develop cross-product business opportunities- Strong work and service ethics to achieve results in a fast-paced environment- Adaptable, methodical, versatile with a keen eye for attention to detail and accuracyIf this role is of interest and you wish to receive more information on this position, please contact Louie York at Vallum Associates on the following details:DD: 0204 513 6437E: #####: 07932 585269
