PrimaLoft is seeking a UK Territory Manager to join our Global Sales Team. We seek a proven sales professional who can communicate our performance product solutions combined with our sustainability mission to brand partners in the United Kingdom. The UK Territory Manager’s role is to create and execute the road map that will enable new expansion and generate significant revenue growth from this hugely important territory. PrimaLoft stands at a transformation point as we leverage recent product innovations while committing ever more fully to being a purpose driven organization. Throughout PrimaLoft history, product creation, sustainability, and innovation has served to inform the brand and marketing strategy. We now need a UK Territory Manager that will be passionate about not only carrying the message of that Relentlessly Responsible mission, but also use that along with powerful product introductions to generate continued sales growth. The Territory Manager will do this through establishing successful product programs with existing and new partners who are among some of the world’s most iconic brands. In 2012 PrimaLoft committed to focusing on what got us to where we are today, and that’s material innovation. As a result, we have been prolific with new products in the last five years. In many ways we’ve almost become the R&D arm for many of our current brand partners because of this innovation.
Today, PrimaLoft succeeds best when we can help our brand partners both differentiate and help them with sell-through at retail. In the future, PrimaLoft will also have a deeper relationship with the consumer and through this strategy provide a stronger opportunity for our brand customers to be successful at retail.
The opportunity is supported by several major product innovations such as PrimaLoft® P.U.R.E.™ technology and the new PrimaLoft® Insulation ThermoPlume+. These innovations can be a major revenue driver for PrimaLoft when it comes to organic growth and should help secure a larger share of the market with current brand partners, as well as getting in more lines and channels.
This high-end performance innovation combined with enhanced sustainability is also going to be a magnet for new brands to come to PrimaLoft because they’re going to see a technology that consumers desire.
A brand is often judged by the company they keep (think Patagonia, Lulu Lemon, Adidas, RAB, Burberry, Nike, Arc’teryx and many more) and PrimaLoft has an extraordinary story to tell. We need a leading sales driver to deliver the brand message to the customers and in return share in our future success.Role and Responsibilities
The UK Territory Manager (UKTM) will report directly to the European Sales Leader and will be responsible for all direct sales to approved brand customers in the UK sales territory. The UKTM will be responsible for the sell-in of existing and new products into brand-customer collections via close relationships with the customer’s product-management, design, and vendor-management/purchasing departments. The UKTM will also work closely with brands and the PrimaLoft® marketing department to develop and implement effective and efficient sell-through activations into retail and to end-consumers. The role has a focus on all market segments PrimaLoft serves: outdoor, sports, lifestyle, workwear, footwear, etc.
