Van delivery driver - Chandlers Ford, Southampton, Apply Now!


At Job&talent, we are recruiting Van delivery drivers for a company in Chandlers Ford, Southampton, delivering convenience foods to shops.


Shift Patterns:


  • 04:00 am -12:00 pm and 11:00 am - 07:30 pm
  • Rotating shift pattern - 5/6 working days, 2/1 day off, weekend work included
Pay Rates


  • £11.50 p/h - Becomes £12 p/h after your first 12 weeks.
  • £14,38 p/hour overtime payable after 42 hour.
As a Van delivery driver you will need to have:


  • Full UK driver license with B category
  • Previous van delivery experience
  • No more than 6 points
Role of a Van delivery driver:


  • Mainly delivering trays of chilled sandwiches but can be some fruit and veg - will be loading own vans
  • Delivering to garage forecourts like Shell/Waitrose.
  • Shifts are around 8 hours long with 30 mins unpaid breaks
  • There will be an induction on the first day with buddy day on the second and usually out on an easy run on the third day
  • Not traveling huge distances but as far as M25 and Bournemouth.
