At Job&Talent, we are looking for a Van Driver to work for our client in Newcastle and help organize their fleet of scooters

Shift Patterns:

32h in total - Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 10pm-6am

Pay Rates:

- Friday and Monday - £12.42/h, Saturday and Sunday £13.92/h

As a Van Driver, you will need to have:

• Proven work experience driving a 3.5t van professionally
• Clean driving licence
• Good communicator with the ability to follow instructions.
• Effective time-management skills.
• Comfort to work in a face paced environment.
• Proficiency with using smartphone and apps
• Good level of fitness and ability to pick up and move 25kg electric scooters
• Availability and flexibility to work weekends

Role of a Van Driver:

• Drive to specified zones and replace batteries on low-charge scooters
• Restock helmets on scooters
• Ensuring the timely deployment of scooters at designated stations to support the consumer demand
• Performing all other ad-hoc & device-related tasks assigned through the central communications platform
• Patrol and move any poorly parked scooters into safe zones
• Representing our client as company ambassador
