Ignition Driver Recruitment is currently recruiting a number of qualified Van drivers, based in Derby to work for one of the UK's�fastest-growing home delivery companies.
The role will include delivering furniture to customer homes as part of a two-person team.�Most of the furniture is flat-pack, and you will be required to complete�around 15 deliveries a day.�

Working as a Van Driver:

• Driving a Van vehicle in a two-person crew�
  • You will initially be paired with an experienced porter
• Delivering flat pack furniture to customer homes�
• MHE required - physically demanding role�
• Vehicle Maintenance Checks as standard
• Route and delivery paperwork completion

Shift times & working hours for a Van Driver:

This is a part time, adhoc role.�

• Start times between 06:00 and 07:00
  • Shift lengths are usually around 12 hours�
• Monday to Sunday working

What do we need from you to be a Van Driver?

• Full UK�driving licence with a minimum 12 months experience
• 90 days tacho recorded driving in the last 180 days
• We will accept up to 5 points on your licence, but no CU, IN, AC , BA, LC, UT, TT, CD, DD, DR endorsements
• Digi Tachograph Card & DCPC Card
• Complete CRB check (you must provide this yourself)
