Van Driver

he Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Carlisle area. We are looking for several dedicated van drivers to join the team.

Hours:�Monday to Friday, with weekend availability. 9am starts (8-10 hour shifts).

Pay Rate:��11.44 per hour PAYE.

Location:�Carlisle, CA6.

Job Type:�Temp to perm with employed or self-employed opportunities.

The role:

� Specialising in courier work across England and Scotland.

� Upon successful completion of the probation period, the position will transition to a set rota schedule.

� Perform 60-100 stops per day, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries and collections.

� Utilise electronic Proof of Delivery (POD) systems to manage deliveries.

� Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism.

� Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.

� Manage time efficiently to ensure all deliveries are completed within the scheduled hours.

Requirements:

� A valid UK driver's license with 1-year proven van experience.

� Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

� Strong communication and customer service skills.

� Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.

� Excellent time management and organisational skills.
