Van Driver

Overview

Russell Taylor are seeking additional van drivers to work for a client based in Leeds. This will involve roughly 10 collections per shift of various products from various businesses which will then be re distributed.

The pay is �12.50 per hour working 5 days per week with overtime paid after 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a van for the delivery of goods to designated locations.


• Load and unload items, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.


• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure optimal performance.


• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.


• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Van Driver or in a similar role is preferred.


• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.


• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required during loading and unloading processes.


• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing delivery schedules.


• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
