VAN DRIVER
MONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES
£12.05 PER HOUR
People Solutions are pleased to be working with a well-known furniture manufacturer to support their delivery network across the UK.
Working Monday to Friday, starting between and earning £12.05 per hour, you will be a key part of the delivery team.

Day to Day Duties
You will be the face of the business in the local area
Your day will start with you and your delivery crew mate spending time ensuring you have everything needed for the day ahead
Delivering furniture to homes across the local areas
Will involve lifting and carrying of furniture
Working flexible hours to deliver outstanding levels of service
Using a hand-held computer device to act as a routing system and obtain customer signatures for deliveries
Completing daily vehicle checks to ensure the safety of your vehicle & load
Essential Skills
A full UK driving licence, with no more than six points for insurance reasons
Good time keeping
A professional appearance and attitude
Confident when dealing with people
The ability to work equally well as part of a team and on your own initiative
As this is a physical role, you will need to be reasonably fit as lifting and carrying furniture is involved
Desirable Experience
Experience in a similar delivery role would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given
Training
Driving assessment will take place, as well as full training
