Van Driver

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Van Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance, with the ability to communicate effectively and deliver exceptional service. This role involves transporting goods efficiently while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate a van to transport goods to various locations in a timely manner.


• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.


• Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured properly during transit.


• Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any issues or delays promptly.


• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.


• Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.


• Perform basic mechanical checks and maintenance on the vehicle as required.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving licence with a clean driving record.


• Previous experience as a van driver or delivery driver is preferred.


• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.


• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.


• A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations.

Monday - Friday 7.15am starts, can be ad hoc days or ongoing work.
