MotorMatch Recruitment Ltd are representing a leading automotive repair garage dedicated in providing top-quality service and vehicle body repairs. The repair centre is seeking a skilled / experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in West Chirton, Newcastle.

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Bodyshop Estimator, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Perform detailed and precise repair assessments to ensure accuracy across a range of vehicles


• Calculate precise / accurate repair costs, including identifying, pricing and justifying all necessary work to ensure comprehensive accounting


• Manage and plan your workload effectively to ensure timely and efficient vehicle repairs in line with forecasted schedules


• Identify and implement more efficient work practices and processes to improve productivity


• Maintain high standards of customer service by effectively communicating with both internal and external stakeholders including insurance companies and technicians


• Demonstrate strong organisational skills and maintaining accurate job records using bodyshop management systems


• Assist with onsite Customer service obligations


• Be able to step in and manage workshop production planning when needed

As the Vehicle Damage Assessor / Bodyshop Estimator, you must have:

• The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Audatex and repair methods


• Be experienced in using a Bodyshop Management System, ideally Autoflow


• You will have experience within an Accident Repair Centre / Bodyshop


• VDA Qualified / Relevant qualifications
