Vehicle Electrician

Manpower is recruiting an Electrician with our client who are Northern Irelands Public Transport service provider.

Candidates with Auto-Electrical and Vehicle Electrics knowledge is highly desirable.

Temporary Full Time running to June 2025, with future potential for extension or permanent opportunities

Based at their workshop in Newry, you'll carry out maintenance and repairs on electrical systems across a fleet of Buses & Coaches.

The Role

• Maintenance, servicing and repairs on vehicle electrical systems
• Carry out vehicle inspections and complete relevant paperwork
• Diagnose faults and take corrective action, testing electrical systems
• Remove and replace vehicle components
• Work with colleague and supervisors effectively
• Work in line with company policy and health & safety

What we are looking for

• Qualified Level 3 in relevant trade (e.g Electrical or Auto-Electrical)
• Relevant electrical experience preferably knowledge of vehicle systems
• Able to fault find and diagnose efficiently
• High standard of work, quality and safety practice
