ATA Vehicle Paint Sprayer - We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer from either the car or commercial vehicle industry, to join a great team based in Manchester.

\n

Vehicle Paint Sprayer - This job role is a skilled Vehicle Paint Sprayer position and requires an experienced candidate who can complete all vehicle paint repairs to damaged vehicles. ATA, NVQ 3 or IMI 3 qualifications would be a distinct advantage.

The Job: Vehicle Paint Sprayer / Vehicle Painter

\n

\n
• Painting damaged vehicles that have been repaired to a high standard
\n
• Be conversant in the up-to-date water based paints systems
\n
• Prepare vehicles to be painted by hand or machine
\n
• Mix and match paint by eye or by using computer technology to ensure correct colour match
\n
• Apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns and rub down surfaces between coats
\n
• Touch up paintwork and apply polish to vehicles
\n
• Knowledge of blending paintwork essential
\n
• Remove masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork
\n
• Treat vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals.
\n
• Paint spraying the entire vehicle.
\n
• Working in a spray booth to ensure paint is confined to the specific areas.
\n
• Must be comfortable in a painting environment
\n
• You must have experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer
\n

Job Experience - Vehicle Paint Sprayer

\n

\n
• A working and demonstrable knowledge of vehicle paint repairs
\n
• Relevant panel qualifications - IMI 3, NVQ 3 or ATA Paint Sprayer Accreditation desirable but not essential
\n
• A working knowledge of H&S responsibilities
\n
• Manufacturer experience is desirable.
\n
