Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester

Job Summary:
Join a well-established automotive dealership in Northampton as a dual-role Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester. This position combines hands-on mechanical expertise with MOT testing responsibilities, offering a dynamic and rewarding career path.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform Class 4 MOT tests to ensure compliance with DVSA standards.
• Conduct vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repair work.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Maintain accurate records for all completed work and MOT tests.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations within the workshop environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification.
• Valid MOT Tester certification (Class 4).
• Proven experience in vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
• 1 in 4 Saturdays (morning shift).
