Verification Officer

The surveying requirements are to primarily monitor the installation of Ground Gas Protection Membranes to ensure they follow the new regulations set down in 8S8485: 2015 and CIRIA 735.

Full training will be given to ensure the competency of the successful candidates. After training the successful candidates will possess the ability to converse with all levels of construction site staff including management, with clear vocabulary & smart appearance, they will implement training schemes, introduce quality assurance procedures, perform independent third party inspections and be able to show an understanding at a technical level of all the different installation methods and how the options for gas membranes & gas venting systems differ across the UK construction market place.

The candidate would have an understanding of the construction industry (CSCS card holder). A basic knowledge of the technical build-up of construction and its elements would be advantageous as would any knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures. Good IT skills are essential. Operating on sites throughout the UK on a daily basis, they must be self motivated, understand the need for correct time management and be able to stay away from base when required.

The candidate must hold a full UK driving license as a company vehicle will be provided immediately on employment. Training would be in-house with recognized courses from accredited authorities (PCA, NVQ, CPD, Radon Council) to create a singular proven professional route within the industry.
