Verification & Validation Engineer – Manchester 

Our client, a specialist electronics engineering business based in Manchester, are looking for a Verification & Validation Engineer to support the engineering team with Verification & Validation activities across complex electronics engineering projects. The scope of these V&V activities covers every stage of the project life cycle - the Senior V&V Engineer shall demonstrate correctness and adequacy of the RAMS analysis, compliance of project deliverables, adequacy of the methods, tools and techniques used within projects, and correctness, consistency and adequacy of test specifications and executed tests. Verification & Validation Engineer - Role and Responsibilities - Approvals / Compliance / Certification / Electronics / Engineering

• A working experience of V&V activities validating a range of industry standards and regulations.
• Verifying & validating embedded software at every stage of project life cycle.
• Able to identify and critically evaluate project assumptions, a systemic thinker with the ability to solve problems in a structured manner.
• Constructively implement V&V activities to meet project and business requirements.

Verification & Validation Engineer - Person Specification - Approvals / Compliance / Certification / Electronics / Engineering

• Degree level in Engineering or relevant Science Degree or have clear industry relevant experience in Approvals, Verification, Validation, Compliance etc 
• Attention to detail and a strong ethical ethos.
• Strong interpersonal skills - ability to work with staff and customers at all levels and generate positive, open relationships, evidence of conflict management.
• Desirable - Knowledge of project management methodologies and stage-gate approach to systems design.
• Application of EN50126, EN50128, EN50129 (advantageous)
