About the Role With the launch of Max across 30+ European & Asian markets in 2024, and more markets planned for the coming years, WBD's content is made available to an increasing number of fans across the world. Strategic partnerships with both traditional video and non-video businesses play a key role in delivering the service in the most customer-friendly and intuitive manner. Hence, strategic decision making in most cases impact the overall business model, requiring holistic commercial planning and oversight of a complex ecosystem. The newly created role of VP Commercial Innovation is designed to lead key strategic projects aimed at driving accelerated, profitable growth in the business, encompassing all revenue streams while supporting the growth of the streaming business. Location: Flexible on location across our key offices in Europe Key Responsibilities Drive the development of new partnership models with traditional, and non-video partners across EMEA & APAC Lead the creative side of negotiations in key partnership discussions including preparing & presenting product & content pitch materials Coordination with the partnerships team in the US and in our local markets on key deal negotiation, ownership and implementation of specific terms and commitments for streaming services Challenge the status-quo to build bespoke partnership models through alignment of strategic priorities with the key players Drive the enterprise partnerships with non-video players that enhance the Max brand equity while driving growth in subscribers and revenues Work closely with the local teams to reset and re-define the relationships with our traditional partners to achieve mid-long term strategic goals while maintaining the revenue growth Cultivating and maintaining excellent business relationships with the local teams in each hub Advise the local partnership leads in cross-platform deal negotiations, encompassing linear & digital revenues, marketing & packaging, integration pathways, billing and metadata integration Your Experience Ability to present and speak passionately about the power of content, and its relevance to WBD's consumers and partners Previous experience working in marketing & commercial partnerships, or business development within the media, broadcast, or entertainment industry Team player with strong inter-personal skills Ability to work in an ever-changing, diverse global matrix organisation Proven capability in sourcing data and conducting research Passionate about working in the media industry This inclusive employer is a member of myGwork the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community.
