VRED Visualisation Expert

Position Title: VRED Visualisation Expert Duration: 6 months (Rolling) Location: Hybrid Working - 1 day onsite in Solihull ResponsibilitiesLead all Digital Visualisation activities, responsible for creative concepting, storyboarding, animation, lighting, rendering (batch and real-time), compositingEditing of all Design studio visual assets, from still imagery to full animations, from concept to completionCreate, define and manage material asset libraryCreate scenes suitable for VR as and when required by the design teamCreate and develop scenes for use in VR sessions and animationsCreate and develop storyboards and art direction for animationsCreate assets to support reviews (CMF, Design, MPR etc…)Create and define process for visualisation workflow (VR, animations etc) Skills and Experience5+ years in an OEM or consultancy studio environmentExpert user of Autodesk VREDHighly creative and intuitive understanding of visualisationStrong sense of visual composition, light, and colourKnowledge of creative best practices for motorcycles, which includes understanding preferred angles, how to frame product features, etcWork within a fluid creative design environment while adhering to tight delivery timelinesStrong team working skills to understand the needs and build a learning relationshipEvidence of meeting deliverables in a fast-paced working environmentExperience using VR and developing OpenGL scenesEnd to end experience creating animations (storyboarding, art direction ideation, lighting, texturing, dynamic keyframe creation, rendering, postprocessing)Knowledge of material library creation and managementKnowledge of Python scripting is a plusExperience or interest in Photography Work basis: Hybrid - Must be able to visit the Clients' HQ (Shirley, UK), at least once per week.May increase depending on urgent requirementsWhy work through Contech's?Contechs are a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology & Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
