Option Autism are seeking a Waking Night Children's Support Worker in the Kirkby Lonsdale area.

Role: Waking Night Children’s Support Worker

Location: Underley Garden School, Kirkby Lonsdale

Salary: £23,945.96 per annum

Hours: Full-time, Permanent (40 hours per week, rolling rota, 4 nights on 4 nights off)

The Opportunity

Our next Waking Night Children’s Support Worker will be someone who has:

A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents’ lives.

Patience, resilience, and calmness.

Some of your duties would be as follows

Running night time routines

Providing the care and support that the children need to be happy and healthy

Complete relevant paperwork

Undertake household tasks

Assist with personal care and where appropriate administer medication.

We are hiring Waking Night Children’s Support Workers for Underley Gardens School which is an Independent Special School and Children’s Home based near the village of Kirkby Lonsdale in Cumbria, providing care for young people between the ages of 5-19.  The school was judged to be Outstanding in all areas in April 2022. During their latest inspection, the Children’s Home was judged Good.

Options Autism are Specialists in Education, Care and Therapy for young people with autistic spectrum conditions, learning difficulties, complex behaviour associated with autism and anxiety and mental health needs.
