Currently we have an excellent opportunity ward manager to join our private clients CAMHS service to provide Clinical Management and Leadership to the combined nursing team across two CAMHS Wards (6 and 10 bedded private patients)
Salary: £58,000

Hours: Full Time , 37.5
Setting: CAMHS - PRIVATE
Location: London, SW15
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages ward staffing, ensuring appropriate skill mix, rota, leave, and absence management.
- Oversees clinical supervision, appraisals, CPD, and mandatory training for nursing staff.
- Addresses training gaps and performance issues within the nursing team.
- Recognizes and rewards positive staff performance in line with roles and responsibilities.
- Acts as a role model and leader, promoting learning, development, and professionalism.
- Implements and monitors compliance with hospital policies and statutory requirements.
- Ensures high standards of patient care and appropriate clinical interventions.
- Oversees patient care plans, engaging patients, families, and carers as needed.
- Manages the safe operation of the CAMHS wards, ensuring cleanliness, nutrition, and quality standards.
- Contributes to recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the CAMHS wards
For this role, we're looking for someone who has;
- NMC registration with background of working experience within CAMHS inpatient services, ideally.
- Willingness to complete further clinical, managerial and leadership training and development relevant to CAMHS and in management and leadership.
- Competent computer skills
- Staff rostering capability and knowledge
- At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory/ senior capacity within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health clinical setting.
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Experience of clinical audit and/ or service improvement based on evidence desirable
- Experience of working in an environment that requires the ability to manage multiple priorities
